B & B Foreign Car Care has been a Napa mainstay for over 40 years. The Correa family bought the shop in November of 2015, adding R & C Automotive to the name and expanding the business to include service for all import, domestic vehicles and motorhomes. You see, B & B started out as a Volkswagen Beetle specialty shop (it was the 70s, after all!), but the level of service and quality B & B delivered stands the test of time and should be carried forward for future generations and future cars. And that’s exactly what the Correas plan to do!
Today, Ron Correa runs B & B with his three daughters and his nephew (plus three dogs!), so it’s a real family affair, and you can expect to be treated like family when you’re here. You can also count on more than 30 years of auto repair experience, and true dedication from ASE Master certified technicians. The goal is to offer the best in automotive service and quality for every driver and vehicle in Napa.
"I’ve always been passionate about automotive mechanics (and getting to work on cool cars!), but what I love most about running my own auto repair shop is being able to work with my family. It's a different dynamic compared to most shops, but I love seeing my girls learn about the auto industry and dare to be different."
—Ron Correa, Owner
Born and raised in Upstate New York, Ron Correa taught himself many skills. He was raised in his family’s restaurant business, but loved working as a mechanic on the side, starting with motorcycles, then cars, and then RVs and boats. In 1982, he officially began his automotive career in Newburgh, NY. Ron and his family made the move to Napa, CA in 2000, where he worked as an automotive technician for another 15 years and also earned his ASE Master certification.
Ron had always aspired to own and operate his own auto repair shop, and in November of 2015, he had the opportunity to purchase a local Napa automotive shop that had been in business for over 40 years—you guessed it, B & B Foreign Car Repair. Ron loves working with his three daughters and nephew, and plans to retire in five to 10 years with more than 40 years of automotive experience himself.
Christina, Ron's eldest daughter, graduated with an associate's degree in Business Accounting from Napa Valley College in 2016. She has been the brains behind getting the business started and keeping Ron in touch with the day-to-day handling of the shop. Christina brings her two fluffy Maltipoos, Mia and Envy to work every day, and she loves Chipotle! (When Christopher's buying lunch, he's often buying Chipotle.)
Ron's only grandson joined the team in September 2017 after he graduated from Navy Basic Training. He always aspired to work on cars and heavy machinery and his goal is to become and ASE Master Technician in 5 years! In his free time, Christopher enjoys hiking, spending time with his friends, caring for his german shepard and eating Chipotle. He is the youngest of the bunch, a quick learner and he appreciates the opportunity to work with the rest of his family.
Ron's middle daughter, Cindy, has always aspired to learn more about the automotive industry. She delivered car parts for a local parts supplier in Napa before starting fulltime at B & B in November. Prior to that, Cindy spent seven years caring for her grandmother full-time until she sadly passed from cancer in 2014. It goes without saying that Cindy is kindhearted, and she loves to stay busy. In the not too distant future, she plans on becoming a master technician at our Napa location.
Sophia started marketing B & B Foreign Car Repair about four hours a week, but Ron knew he would eventually need her full-time to gain new customers and expand the shop. So she left her position as Store Manager at OshKosh and Carters and began working full-time with her family. Sophia often brings her rescue pit bull, Taz, to the shop where he greets each customer.
